Meet The Eye Doctors At Freestone Optometric Center

Our eye doctors take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing, and treating potential vision problems.

Christine Min, OD

Dr. Christine Min is a Southern California native, having grown up in Hacienda Heights. She discovered her passion for optometry when she landed her first job in college as an optometric technician and had the opportunity to travel to Peru and Mexico on medical missions.

Dr. Min went on to complete her undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine (go anteaters!) and received her professional degree, graduating with Cum Laude honors, from Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton.

Nauz Hassanshahi, OD

Dr. Nauz Hassanshahi started her professional training in Boston at the New England College of Optometry, recognized as one of the oldest colleges of optometry in the United States. Her studies there involved rigorous academics and intense clinical training with exposure to a diverse population. Her focus was on consulting and managing individuals with many different eye disorders, including Glaucoma, Dry Eyes, Keratoconus, Amblyopia, Macular Degeneration, and Diabetic Retinopathy.

Dr. Hassanshahi also custom designed specialty contact lenses for individuals with certain corneal disorders who could not be fitted in traditional soft contact lenses. She feels very fortunate to work as an optometrist, cherishing the opportunity to help patients with their vision needs.
